15 March 2023. Police investigations have confirmed that a complaint made by a 13-year-old teenage girl, from the Government Primary School at Ngele’ia, regarding an incident on Tuesday morning, 28 February 2023 took place.

27 February, 2023. Police on Friday, 24 February 2023 confiscated more alcohol being sold unlawfully from a residence at Ngele’ia.

20 February 2023. A week-long Drone Operator Training commenced today, 20th February 2023 at the Tonga Police College, Longolongo, intended to upskill our police officers on ways to operate a drone that was acquired through the Illicit Drugs Response Fund (IDRF) to support police operations.

17 February 2022. Police investigations into the stolen white Toyota Wish Car C37740 last seen on Boxing Day last year at the roadside beside ANZ Bank in central Nuku’alofa have been successful.

14 February 2023. Police, within 24 hours, in three different raids, arrested four people for possession and supplying of illicit drugs.

3 February 2023. Police on Wednesday, 1 February 2023 around 1:00 pm responded to a road accident on Taufa’ahau Road at Nualei where a 17-year-old male pedestrian from Tatakamotonga sustained severe injuries after being hit by a moving vehicle.

27 January 2023. Tonga Police on Wednesday, 25 January 2023 arrested a couple, a 43-year-old husband and his 29-year-old wife from Veitongo along with a 24-year-old male from Ha’akame for possession and supply of illicit drugs.

3 January 2022. Police investigations into the fatal hit-and-run incident on Taufa’ahau Road at Nualei in November 2022 have resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old male from Ha’asini on Friday, 30 December 2022.
